![]() If there is wear it will be an expensive fix. You have to be diligent about greasing the links so be sure to look at that. They replace one relay with 2 or 3 behind the seat. There is an upgrade and I'd guess the tractor you are looking at probably already has the upgrade. The cab relay had to be replaced a bout 2 years ago. Lots of issues with wiring like in the side console, up front on the alternator, on the front corner display post, behind the seat etc. The seat is always leaking down and this year it won't go back up. My solution was to wait 9 years and sure enough, the rear main went out so we fixed 2 things at the same time. I had a leaky oil pan using about a quart or even two a day and you have to lift the engine out to drop the pan. The neighbor and I have identical plows and he pulls his with an 8420 so he goes faster and he plows more acres than me and his lower links on his quick coupler were worn about 3/16 inch back and mine are worn 3/8 inch. That expensive yoke on the bottom of the tractor that anchors the lower links to the tractor wore out at 2000 hours!! The 3 pt quick coupler cracks welds every season and the steel is no where near as good as a john deere. The dealer replace the front diff, housing, shafts, pinion gear etc. They've recalibrated it several times and it's still nonfunctional. ![]() ![]() We bought it with 350 hours on it as it was a demo model. Ours has the terraglide front suspension and it has never worked in the field or at least in our fields. They are junkier than the equivalent john deeres. Yeah, I have read about an update on the early models for relays/solenoid supplying cab power. Going to look at a 2003 tg210 with 4400 hours on it so wondering if there is anything I should be aware of or pay attention to when checking it out.
